Las obras de arte están expuestas en secciones de las ventanas de las tiendas de farmacia en diversos lugares del sur de la Florida.

Candido Bidó Art Gallery Tour / Visita a la Galeria de Arte de Candido Bidó

This week I invite you visit with me the Candido Bidó  Art Gallery in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; at the Gallery you can enjoy Bidó's work of birds, women faces, flowers, the sun among others amazing art pieces created from the Dominican artist, all of them full of colors and warm as the artist it self was. 

Special thanks to Bidó's daughter; Amanda Karina Bidó , who kindly opened the doors of the gallery for us to enjoy his dad amazing art work.

Artists in the making / Artistas en proceso

As in every profession, career or discipline that you develop in life; start from studying and practicing your skills and talents to become better each day.

This time I want to invite you to visit with me the Mark K. Wheeler Gallery at the Art Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, where you can find amazing art work from students; "artists in the making" , for everyone to see.

The Gallery is located in the lobby of the institute and its open to the public for free. So remember when visiting Ft. Lauderdale, besides going to Las Olas Blvd. stop by the Art Institute to watch the students work!

Como en toda profesión, carrera o disciplina que se desarrolla en la vida, parten de estudiar y practicar sus habilidades y talentos para ser mejores cada día.

Esta vez quiero invitarlos a visitar juntos la Galería Mark K Wheeler en el Art Institute de Fort. Lauderdale, donde se pueden encontrar obras de arte increíble de los estudiantes, "los artistas en proceso", para que todos la vean.

La galería está ubicada en el vestíbulo del instituto y esta abierta al público de forma gratuita. Así que recuerda al visitar Ft. Lauderdale, además de ir a Las Olas Boulevard. pasar por el Instituto de Arte para ver el trabajo de los estudiantes!

We usually associate Art with museums and galleries, however we should also take advantage of our surroundings and be mindful that different types of art could be displayed where you least expect it.

Enjoy the following "tour" aboard a vessel, where we found amazing abstract art work, famous master pieces replicas and very original and fun sculptures... and remember that you can always find art every where you go.

Usualmente asociamos Arte con museos y galerias, sin embargo, si tomamos en cuenta nuestros alrededores podemos darnos cuenta que estan exhibidos diferentes estilos de arte en los lugares mas inesperados.

Olympic Graphic Design

There have been two London 2012 logos: one for the bidding process created by Kino Design and a second as the brand for the Games themselves. The former is a ribbon with blue, yellow, black, green, and red stripes winding through the text "LONDON 2012," making the shape of the River Thames in East London. The latter, designed by Wolff Olins, was unveiled on 4 June 2007 .This new logo is a representation of the number 2012, with the Olympic Rings embedded within the zero.

This will be the first time that the same essential logo is to be used for both the Olympic and Paralympic games.

The standard colours are green, magenta, orange and blue; however, the logo has incorporated a variety of colours, including the Union Flag to promote the handover ceremony. The flexibility of the logo has enabled sponsors to incorporate their corporate colours into a personalised version.

Con motivo del mes de la Independencia de Venezuela y Colombia, fue celebrada, entre otras actividades, una Exposición de Arte que unió artistas de ambas naciones, mostrando su talento, en los espacios de la Cleveland Clinic en Weston.

Artistas participantes: Alicia Arvelo, Ana Bernal, Eva Avila, German Quintero, Gina Guzman, Juan Botero, Lucy Saenz y Viviana Pineda.

To mark the month of the Independence of  Venezuela and Colombia, was held, among other activities, an Art Exhibition uniting artists from both countries showcasing their talents, in the spaces at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston.

The Dot 

Art class is over, but Vashti is sitting glued to her chair in front of a blank piece of paper. The words of her teacher are a gentle invitation to express herself. But Vashti can't draw - she's no artist. To prove her point, Vashti jabs at a blank sheet of paper to make an unremarkable and angry mark. That one little dot marks the beginning of Vashti's journey of surprise and self-discovery.

La clase de arte ha terminado, pero Vashti está sentada pegada a su silla frente a un pedazo de papel en blanco. Las palabras de su maestro son una gentil invitación para expresarse. Pero Vashti no se puede expresar - ella no es artista. Para probar su punto, Vashti da golpes en una hoja de papel en blanco para hacer una marca sin complicaciones y con rabia. Ese pequeño punto marca el inicio del viaje de Vashti de sorpresa y descubrimiento personal.
